Beth is an associate with the Schaefer Law Firm, LLC where she concentrates her practice representing clients in:

Clients thoroughly enjoy working with Beth. Her passion for representing victims is evident to clients who know her to be an active listener and empathetic advocate.

Representing plaintiffs in the employment law arena, Beth has counseled clients in connection with various employment related matters. She has negotiated and drafted employment, separation and severance agreements and counseled clients in connection with employment discrimination and retaliation claims. Beth also advocates for clients through the unemployment compensation appeal process, the administrative charge processes of both the federal EEOC and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, and in civil litigation.

Beth also works on the firm's personal injury legal team, representing clients who have sustained injuries as a result of an accident or negligent conduct.

She lectures at continuing legal education conferences on topics related to her practice. Beth is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and its Minnesota chapter. She is also a member of the Minnesota State and Hennepin County Bar Associations and Minnesota Women Lawyers.

Beth received her B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of North Dakota and her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. During law school, she participated in the William E. McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court as a student director and member of the University of Minnesota competition team. She also volunteered as a Minnesota Justice Foundation Law Clerk at the Indian Child Welfare Law Center in Minneapolis . Beth was an associate with another Twin Cities law firm before joining the Schaefer Law Firm, LLC in 2007.
